In his role as Business Relationship Director, Dave will work shoulder to shoulder with Dom and Jo to grow the Eaton Syalon brand, strengthen our presence in the market, and deliver exceptional results for our clients and candidates. Q: What attracted you to Eaton Syalon and the role of Business Relationship Director?
A: “Eaton Syalon is a fresh and forward-thinking business that’s committed to delivering exceptional results through genuine relationships, which aligns perfectly to my values and way I like to do business. I’m excited to work alongside Dom and Jo to grow the brand and bring my own touch
Q: How has your experience to date prepared you for this role?
A: “I’ve worked with a wide range of businesses in the East Midlands across a variety of sectors, building strong relationships based on honesty and trust. Whether it’s through recruitment expertise or hosting successful golf and networking events, I’ve always focused on getting a good understanding of my clients as people, understanding their headaches and challenges, and finding solutions to those problems, while exceeding expectations.”
Q: What’s your vision for your role at Eaton Syalon?
A: “I see this role as a chance to enhance Eaton Syalon’s already fantastic reputation by deepening our relationships with both existing and new clients and candidates. Going and meeting people, organising key events like golf days will allow us to connect in a more personal way, while continuing to provide a first-class recruitment service.”
Q: What motivates you in your work?
A: “The opportunity to work with like minded people who equally want to go that extra mile to provide a first-class service to the clients and candidates we work with”
Q: How do you approach building strong relationships in business?
A: “It’s about trust, consistency, understanding and doing what you say you’re going to do. I take the time to really listen to clients and candidates, ensuring I can offer tailored solutions that meet their needs.”
Q: What do you enjoy outside of work?
A: “I’m an avid golfer – I see it as a microcosm of life. It’s a process of constantly trying to get better, with ups and downs, good and breaks and I love challenge, resilience and focus it requires. Golf is not just a hobby for me but also a fantastic way to connect with people, build relationships, and have fun.”
