Modern Slavery Act Statement

Introduction:

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Eaton Syalon Ltd has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Our Business:

Eaton Syalon Ltd is a small recruitment business specialising in the professional services sector. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Our Policy on Modern Slavery:

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or our supply chains. Our Anti-Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

Due Diligence Processes:

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have put in place systems to:

Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.

Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.

Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.

Protect whistleblowers.

Supplier Adherence to Our Values:

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values. We have in place a supplier code of conduct which outlines our expectations regarding the respect for human rights and ethical conduct.

Risk Assessment and Management:

We regularly evaluate the nature and extent of our exposure to the risk of modern slavery occurring in our supply chain through rigorous risk assessments and management strategies. This includes engaging with our suppliers to understand their practices and compliance with our standards.

Training:

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and providers.
